Fundraising Event

The Livonia Rotary Club has a long history of fundraising activities with the objective of supporting a number of local charities as well as the needs of specific groups, families or individuals in our community.

You can read more about our two largest fundraising events (the “Livonia Memorial Golf Tournament” every June and the two Fair Stands at the Hemlock “Little Worlds Fair” every July) under their separate listings, navigated from the home page.

In May 2009, Livonia Rotary was the lead sponsor of the first-ever Little Lakes Youth Triathlon. The events, which included swimming, biking, and running, were held on and/or near the Livonia Central School campus. Three age divisions enabled fair competition for Livingston County students from third through eighth grades. To learn more about this event, to get an application to participate, or to become a sponsor of next year’s event (to be held again in May), visit the Youth Triathlon’s website: You may also contact Terry McCarron at (585) 738-9650.

Livonia Rotary also sponsors an annual Pancake Dinner at the St. Matthew Catholic Church Community Room every winter. It begins at 5 PM, following the church’s 4 PM Mass, and runs until 7:30 PM. All after-expenses proceeds are donated to one or more worthy local causes, to be determined by the club’s board just prior to announcing the Pancake Dinner. The date for the next Pancake Dinner event has not been announced.
